Inspired by the Koln and Amiens cathedrals.
This cathedral was supposed to be situated in a town, but I thought it would look more sinister if it were coming out of nowhere. Point out the fact that the cathedral looks hollow and die :gun:
I;m really pleased of the way I made the tree, and also the sky. I painted the last one with my finger :picknose:
...before picking my nose :roll:
Also, this painting features the smallest archer I've ever made: only 2 cm in the real painting.

it really looks like a cathedral i read about once somewhere in the island of Asia.
in anycase i :love: it . i think it might get a feature in my work (thanks for the cool ideea)

The tree is amazing, how it becomes part of the castle. The texture is wonderful.

OOooo just beautiful!!!! :D I love the silhouette of the cathedral, which looks so hard and dark, against the soft trees and teensy little archer :D It has a magical, foreboding feel! :love:
