hey guys
been feeling very artsy lately so i came up with a project which i hope will grab your interest.
you see, for some time now, i've been thinking about making illustrations inspired by the 24 songs in Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. what i basically had in mind is each artist picking a song and making an illustration that would best fit the certain piece.
for example, i would like to illustrate the one called In taberna quando sumus (When We Are At The tavern), because it's a really funny song. you can pick any one you like, and there can even be more artists painting the same theme.
if you don't know the songs, this [link] will most definitely help, it has the lyrics in English as well
as for usual, i don't know what we'll do with the paintings when we're done. maybe pile them up in a collection or stuff. dunno i am open for suggestions though.
